Huntsville Hospital announced the grant recipients for this year's Community Health Initiative.
Thirteen local nonprofits were awarded a total of $500,000 during a ceremony at the Madison County Health Department Tuesday morning, June 9.
Huntsville Hospital's Community Health Initiative was founded 19 years ago to improve the health status of Madison County residents, and in that time, it has awarded more than $8.8 million to 47 local agencies, according to a Huntsville Hospital press release. Read more here

$3500 to Sponsor a Child for a Year
It is only $3500 a year to sponsor one of our students for a year. We provide food, academic assistance, tutoring, Early Morning Bible Study, Freedom School, and violin lessons.
